Hi! My name is Krystal Kelly and I'm Californian Girl on a quest to see every country in the world! I love to travel slowly and prefer to go from country to country overland. My favorite method of travel is on horseback!

Although I started my travels working with horses, it led me to some crazy countries! I worked in Egypt during the Revolution and I worked in India for TWO YEARS!

I also worked in Bhutan, Belgium, Italy, and Romania to name a few. I've also completed 1,000 kilometers on semi-wild Mongolian horses across the Mongolian steppes in the "World's Longest & Toughest Horse Race." Not bad for a Californian girl!

In 2016 I drove a car from England to Mongolia SOLO and met my German husband in Azerbaijan along the way!

Their rally cars reunited in Germany after the rally had long finished...

Krystal and her German husband, Christian, in Bhutan, learning the realities of married life.

Based in England for our first two years of marriage, I've taught my husband to ride horses and sometimes I even bring him along on my travel adventures...

In April, 2018 I went on a Secret Trip to Yemen where I met a wonderful family and am currently on a mission to send Yemeni girls to University!

Although Yemen is very dangerous and Krystal had to wear a Niqab to hide her face (and Green Eyes!) she was able to snap this photo in a deserted alley way in Hadrahmaut.

Working with horses around the globe has given me the opportunity to share my passion with women who are often not able to have these opportunities due to the culture restrictions. By riding and working with horses in male dominated countries, I proved that you don't have to be a man to ride! After all, the Equestrian Sport is the ONLY sport in the Olympics where men and women compete equally.

I am an entrepreneur, travel blogger, social media influencer, writer, videographer and story teller. I love to promote travel, women empowerment and I am the Founder of Equestrian Adventuresses.
Because I'm a Certified FEI II Showjumping Coach, I often travel giving clinics or riding at various horse tourism stables to help promote them and create content. Since I have a love for teaching I also have several online courses available where I share my passion for travel and horses with the world.

True to form, to avoid the "tourists" Krystal explored Scotland during the WINTER!

I am on a quest to visit EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD and so my travels often take me to unique and interesting countries such as my recent trip to Iraq! I love hidden places and tend to stay away from "touristy spots." I prefer to travel overland (by car, horse, scooty-bike, rickshaw, camel or any means!) and like to spend as much time in each place as possible to fully understand the culture.

In this blog I share my travel experiences and stories! I LOVE storytelling so if you like reading about mishaps, adventures and girl power then this is the place for you!

I also offer travel advice, online courses and helpful resources for anyone interested in traveling to unique destinations. I love more "off-the-beaten-path" places and you probably won't find me sightseeing at the Eiffel Tower, but you may just run into me gallivanting around Eritrea or Papua New Guinea!
